"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hey! I was just looking at your photo manip. Nice job, by the way!! And I saw the avvies you put in your comments. How in the world do you do that?! lol. I've been trying for the longest time and I even read the FAQs thousands of times but I'm hopeless...and frustrated.
Ohhh! *slaps head* sorry. Um...well, you have to save a 50x50 size image in a file, I mostly prefer a GIF file, go to "Edit Profile". There's three pages, one's "Identity", the other is "User Page Display", and the last one is "devMoviel Management". Go to "Identity", the first box says "Avatars" and where it says "New Avatar" there's a file box and a "Browse" button, click on the browse button and choose your files. Click "ok" and your done. I hope that works.
